Who am I? Who do I love? And how do I want to be perceived? An evening about self-determination and solidarity. And an emphatic plea for a relaxed coexistence in the future.

Linus Giese came out as a trans* man in 2017. Because he dared to talk about it publicly, he was met with hatred - and overwhelming solidarity. With his second book "Lieber Jonas oder der Wunsch nach Selbstbestimmung" (Kjona Verlag), he wants to give something back to the people who supported him and give them courage for the future.

Kay has a serious crush - and a serious illness. "Muscles of Plastic" by Selma Kay Matter (Hanser Berlin) is about chronic illness and transness - and about the way our society thinks and talks about "healthy" bodies. Care, intimacy and queer resistance - an impressive and moving debut.

And in "Schwindel" (Flower Bar), Hengameh Yaghoobifarah has four people meet on the roof of a high-rise building on a Friday evening - involuntarily. Who is actually with whom now? What is it with us and who are the other two? And how do we get down from this roof without keys and cell phones? An uncompromisingly contemporary love story of radical vitality.

The three authors present their current books in short reading passages and talk to Luca Mael Milsch ("Sieben Sekunden Luft", Haymon Verlag) about self-determined writing, life and love.
