Senior movie: A REAL PAIN

Eisenberg sends cousins David and Benji on a journey into the past of their deceased grandmother and Holocaust survivor. Their love for her draws them together as they travel through a rather unpicturesque Poland, visit the family's former home and take a guided tour of Majdanek. Discharges, some of them highly comical, between the shy, down-to-earth David and the depressive, skipping devil Benji are inevitable. But they learn to acknowledge their own pain and that of others in the face of the incomprehensibly greater pain of extermination and to live with it - Chopin's magical, healing background music may have played a part in this.
