Ten years of Serious Black, ten years of deeply melodic power metal with a license to create anthems: Since their formation in 2014, the band has not only delighted fans with their five studio albums to date, but also at acclaimed concerts and festival appearances around the globe. Serious Black is now celebrating its milestone birthday with its latest release: The sixth studio album 'Rise Of Akhenaton' will be released on September 27, 2024 via AFM Records, accompanied by a Europe-wide tour with Sonata Arctica and Firewind. Serious Black are bridging the waiting time until then with three pre-release singles including elaborate video clips. The first will be the fast-paced 'Metalized' at the end of May, which combines all the strengths of this first-class band with its powerful guitar riffing, dynamic drum/bass foundation and anthemic earworm qualities.
