The exhibition "Servus Jahnstadion" in cooperation with the Jahn Archive shows photographic works by the artist Maria Maier in the AKUSO FORUM.

In the weeks of the anniversary celebrations "10 years of the Jahnstadion Regensburg", the AKUSO Forum is also thinking about the opening of the soccer stadium in July 2015.

The focus is on the photo exhibition with impressions from the last days of the old Jahnstadion, as experienced by the versatile Regensburg artist Maria Maier and captured with her camera. Maria Maier has been interested in time and architecture for over 30 years. In her latest exhibition, she explores a legendary institution in Regensburg's sporting history. Shortly before the demolition of the old stadium, which was replaced by the new Jahnstadion exactly ten years ago, the artist took photographs on the site. The exhibition is not a classic documentation, rather the photographic works are to be understood as an artistic testimony of what once was and what became of it.
