SEX BEAT interpret punk with a sense of history and a wide range of influences, from Suicide and Oblivians to Hot Snakes and Urianium Club. The sound is based on the 90s sound of the Dischord catalog: Bass and drums push forward aggressively, guitar and vocals rage in between. The Berlin band (recently with a new bass player, by the way) recorded their current 2nd LP ("Crack"/This Charming Man Records), whose songs will of course be a major part of their 2nd Gleis concert, single-handedly in the rehearsal room, no studio, no producer, completely without outside help. It has become a punk album that pushes forward to the maximum and needs no further genre designations. DIY is not seen as a gimmick here, but as a necessity with no alternative.

SCHNELLES GELD from Münster are Lui from HALB AUS PLASTIK and Jan from DUESENJÄGER, they use bass and guitar as well as drum machines and synthesizers. Their style is electro-infused, minimalist post-punk with a dash of NDW. Their first single ("Ich arbeite hier nicht") was recently released on GRABELAND SCHALLFOLIEN. An LP on MY RUIN will also be released before the concert.
