shame have been one of the most exciting and internationally acclaimed bands in post-punk since their formation in 2014. Their uncompromising live shows, bursting with energy, have made them a force to be reckoned with - not only in their native London, but also beyond.

This year, they are back louder than ever with their fourth studio album. "Cutthroat", produced by Grammy winner John Congleton, is not an album that asks for permission. It burns, bites and screams - a relentless soul striptease between defiance, despair and departure.

"Cutthroat is a joyride. It's for the inexperienced driver. The one who wants to go fast for no reason other than it's fun." - is how the band describes their new masterpiece. The lyrics are direct, biting and political - but always with the self-irony typical of shame. Musically, the band dares to try something new: driving synthesizers, electronic loops, rockabilly riffs and even Portuguese folklore complement the otherwise typical post-punk sound.

"Our live shows aren't performance art - they're direct, confrontational and raw. That's always been the root of us," says frontman Charlie Steen. And that's exactly what shame will be bringing back to German stages on four dates of their Massive Monster Tour 2025: sweat, chaos and escalation are pre-programmed.
