The story of the Australian band Sheppard sounds like the script for a Hollywood movie: siblings writing music in their parents' living room, an unwavering belief in their art and a meteoric rise with a song that even knocked Pharrell Williams' mega-hit "Happy" out of the charts. With their single "Geronimo", the band led by George, Amy and Emma Sheppard not only delivered the catchy tune of a generation, but also a stadium anthem that got people dancing all over the world and made the band a fixed star in the pop sky. But Sheppard wants to deliver more than just a hit - and they are now proving this impressively with their new album and their upcoming tour.

After a long break due to the pandemic, Sheppard are back and are finally bringing their live energy back to European stages. With their fourth album "Zora", named after the trio's grandmother, they present a record that is as multifaceted and optimistic as their musical career. The album not only celebrates life, but also resilience and growing up. George Sheppard describes it as "a profound experience that reflects our growth and maturity as a full-time family band". The band was formed under special circumstances: The Sheppard siblings spent their youth in Papua New Guinea, where they were inspired to write their own music by a dedicated music teacher and family friend, Baruka Tau-Matagu. Together with Jay Bovino, Michael Butler and Dean Gordon, the siblings developed their sound - characterized by modern pop hooks and nostalgic echoes of the 70s and 80s, reminiscent of great bands such as Fleetwood Mac and the Beatles.

Sheppard have long since established themselves as one of Australia's best pop bands. They deliver rousing shows that radiate energy and joie de vivre and make their fans forget their everyday problems for a night. In their new show, which they are presenting to celebrate "Zora", the band brings their most popular songs to the stage - including "Geronimo", of course, but also new hits such as "Good Time", "Daylight" and "Dance on the Sun".
