Caspar David Friedrich was a "painter of light" whose depictions of light and the sky continue to fascinate and inspire artists to this day. In 2025, we are presenting selected works from the Light Art Collection Amsterdam. A total of eight light art installations will light up at nightfall and invite you to take a tour. The works take up motifs from Friedrich's works, reflect the perception of art today or encourage interaction in a variety of ways.
