Monday, November 11: Karl Valentin - The most popular short films
curated by Filmhaus Kino Köln
Karl Valentin is the master of absurd humor and subtle satire. To mark the start of the session, we are showing a selection of his most popular short films: Characterized by quirky dialogues and pointed social criticism, they continue to inspire with their timeless charm to this day. On this evening, we celebrate his unique humor, which takes a tongue-in-cheek look at human idiosyncrasies.
The film series "Short Monday - Der Kurzfilm-Montag im Filmhaus Köln" is an initiative of the KFFK/Kurzfilmfestival Köln, the SK Stiftung Kultur and the Filmhaus Kino and is curated alternately by the three cooperation partners. The series, which takes place on the second Monday of each month, aims to give short film greater public visibility and a regular platform in Cologne.
