Experience a special evening at the FITZ! Theater - short, exciting performances in the middle of the city!

The SHORTIES format presents short pieces from puppet theater, contemporary dance and film every two months. Each edition brings new, thematically linked contributions to the stage.

And afterwards? The bar with outdoor area in the Kulturareal passage invites you to linger - stay for a drink and talk to the artists.

"fish-i" // Nóra Vermes
The fish lives - without asking, without thinking. Then comes the human - describes it. And now, seeing the human, the fish thinks. So - I think. So - the fish in my imagination thinks.

"Within" // Emilia Dorr
With "Within", performance artist Emilia Dorr searches for meaning in encounters with space, audience and the invisible. The result is a performative journey that makes the complexity of relationships visible.

"dis_figured" // Eva Baumann
The sculptural dance miniature dis_figured choreographically explores the legible "figure" and the "disfigured", questioning definitions of the beautiful and the ugly, the comprehensible and the incomprehensible.
