Art exhibition by Behindertenhilfe Offenbach at the Klingspor Museum

To mark the 40th anniversary of the Offenbach residential complex and the 50th anniversary of the association, Behindertenhilfe Offenbach is presenting a special art exhibition at the Klingspor Museum. The exhibition shows works by artists with disabilities that were created as part of an art project that has grown over the years.

The art project began in 1998, initiated by the social education worker and art assistant Beate Schmitt and the freelance artist Heidi Schrickel. During the initial phase, numerous works were created that still form a valuable part of the exhibition today. They are not only an important testimony to artistic development, but also commemorate artists who have since passed away.
Although the art project no longer exists in its original form, the idea lives on. Art still has a firm place in the residential complex, and today numerous art workshops enrich the creative offering, which remains lively and changeable.
