Signe and Thomas have an unhealthy relationship in which one is always trying to outdo the other. The fact that Thomas suddenly becomes successful with his art - which mainly consists of stealing designer furniture - and thus gets more attention, doesn't suit Signe at all. But she quickly finds a solution to her problem: with the help of an illegal pharmaceutical, she makes herself ill in order to generate attention through her suffering and outshine her boyfriend.

A pointedly exaggerated, dark comedy about the negative effects of social media and questionable forms of media self-revelation. With biting ambiguity, the film takes aim at phenomena of the zeitgeist such as identity politics and the use of models of diversity.

Flingern-Lichtspiele

The summer open-air cinema in Flingern. Every Thursday and Saturday in August, we show a total of eight films on the terrace behind the building. The projections start after dark, admission is from 21:00. Folding chairs and deckchairs are available and there is a bar. If it rains, we will show the films indoors. Free admission - donations are welcome.
