Screen printing from A-Z: In this course you will learn the basics of the screen printing craft from designing a suitable motif, coating and exposing the screen to printing and then decoating the screen.

ATTENTION: This course consists of two dates one week apart! So if the first session is on a Monday from 17:30 - 20:30, the second session will take place on the following Monday at the same time.

Appointment 1: We start with a short introduction: What is screen printing anyway, how does it all work and what is actually possible? We will discuss your own print motif and I will help you to create an exposure template.
It's best to bring one or two ideas for your print project with you so that you can make the best use of the time.
As soon as the motifs have been finalized, we will coat the appropriate screens and also print a test motif together to practice the printing process.

Appointment 2: Since the first appointment, you have finalized your motif at home and bring it to the second appointment either in analogue or digital form. Now the screens are exposed, you decide on a printing ink and your printing substrate (see below for more information) and then we finally start printing together!
