Three stories, three perspectives, one dialog
The Brandenburg Museum is presenting the history of the Nauen radio station and its connections to Kamina (Togo) and Windhoek (Namibia) for the first time.
Using partly unpublished archive material on this forgotten chapter of Brandenburg, Namibian and Togolese history, artists from Germany, Togo and Namibia develop their own approaches in their works - from very different perspectives.
Their perspectives are challenging:
to actively reflect on cultures of remembrance, historiography and their relevance for the future.
In doing so, it becomes clear:
The colonial structures of communication continue to have an impact today - both
in Brandenburg as well as in Togo and Namibia.
