SIGNPAINTING - The craft of sign painting
A day trip into the world of hand-painted letters.
For all those interested in lettering and creativity who want to try their hand at the subject and design and paint their own sign with support.

What you can expect:

• Brief introduction and overview of traditional techniques and tools
• Design of font and layout for your own unique piece
• Introduction to motif transfer, color theory, painting techniques
• Implementation of your own motif on a sign under guidance
• Tips and tricks for practical work
• Breaks are arranged flexibly
  

What you take home with you:

• 1 lettering brush to continue painting at home
• Booklet for the workshop
• Your sketches, 1:1 drawing and your personal sign, approx. 30 x 40 cm
• Knowledge of layout and painting techniques to start your own projects

Suitable for beginners with no previous knowledge as well as creative people who want to develop their techniques further.
You are of course welcome to bring your own sketchbooks, sketches, templates, books and tools.

All necessary work materials, snacks and drinks as well as illustrative material, samples and examples are provided.

Who we are:
Sebastian Karbowiak paints signs, shop windows, decorations, facades, lettering and backdrops under the name KOMPAGNON.LETTERS.

As a trained sign painter, he uses traditional techniques for his work.
Instead of adhesive foils, digital prints and plastic, he uses brushes, paints, wood and gold leaf - all by hand.
Passion and fun at work are his top priorities, so a relaxed workshop day is guaranteed.
