But what about the female interpreters of these works, who sang them on stage and thus made them popular in the first place? women like Marlene Dietrich or Claire Waldoff have kept their place in memory. When it comes to Fritzi Massary, many people find it difficult and the names Paula Menotti, Lea Seidl or Fritzi Frou are completely forgotten - quite wrongly, we think.
