The exhibition sheds light on ore mining from both its shiny and dark sides. Objects from the Bronze Age to the 21st century bring to light what went on underground.
The exhibition is under the patronage of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
It is part of the main program of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 project.
