Simon Eingang-Trio - Mustafa Suite

In the organizer's words:

The Simon Eingang Trio combines classical jazz elements with a unique sound. The trio consists of Simon Eingang (electric guitar, oud, saz), Jean Loup Eberhardt (saxophone) and Thomas Eilingsfeld (double bass). The three musicians got to know each other at the Würzburg University of Music, and since then they have combined their musical styles to create a fresh and dynamic jazz sound.

With a mixture of bebop, swing and musical influences from various parts of world music, the trio creates a multi-faceted world of sound - without drums, but with intense energy and dynamism.

The trio's current program is a suite that tells the tragic life story of Mustafa , a man from Bangladesh who had to flee in search of a new home after losing his entire family at the age of 15. The music picks up on the emotional and social challenges of flight and immerses the audience in various phases of loss, hope and new beginnings. With melodic, improvised passages and driving rhythms, the trio takes the audience on a moving journey.

The Simon Eingang Trio is an ensemble whose musical depth and emotional expressiveness will appeal to the audience both musically and emotionally.
