Voltarenes are a minimal wave trio that has been active, but mostly inactive, in various locations between Hamburg-Altona and Munich since 2004. In 2009, Schnars Leider and Mawe N. Klave - still as a duo - released their English-language debut album "Proceedings", including the song "Altona City", which had a short career as a fansong for the soccer club Altona 93.
