"Soldiers live ..." - Everyone knows the song from the Threepenny Opera. It is part of a literary-musical culture that is around 100 years old. With a sharp pen and unique music, artists criticize the conditions of their time - and are not afraid to take aim at those responsible for two world wars.
In the 1990s, the songs and texts were still widely performed at readings and in theaters.
