Experience a concert that will inspire you. Home awakens feelings in all of us that can be wonderfully expressed musically, as can the longing associated with it.

The Studio Orchestra Duisburg will present the following works with great enthusiasm:

• Antonín Dvorák: Overture "My Home" The beautiful and festive overture "My Home" will sweep you away. Dvorák transports you to his homeland and captures the essence of Bohemia with impressive musical images.
• Bohuslav Martinu: Rhapsody Concerto for Viola and Orchestra Experience the fascinating sound world of Bohuslav Martinu. Like Dvorák, he describes the cultural heritage of his native Czech Republic, as well as the longing for a lost world on this earth - and the attempt to musically access the emotions associated with it. This rhapsody concerto captivates with its emotional depth and the virtuoso performance of our viola soloist.
• Johannes Brahms: Symphony No. 4 Enjoy the crowning finale of the evening with the majestic Symphony No. 4 by Johannes Brahms. This masterpiece, filled with powerful themes and lyrical passages, is one of the most yearning romantic highlights in European music history and will touch you deeply.
