Siri Svegler & Band

Her voice: dreamy and romantic one moment, powerful and determined the next and always crystal clear. Her songs: a mixture of folk, pop, jazz, country, full of magic and a little mysterious and always authentic, just like the singer/songwriter, Swedish with German residency herself.

Siri reminds some people of Ingrid Michaelson, Anna Ternheim or Norah Jones, others of Lily Allen and recently the name Lana Del Rey has come up more and more often.

The Gothenburg native studied at the renowned Arts Educational School in London and trained in music, singing, dancing and acting. At night, she performed in jazz clubs such as the "Jazz Café" or the legendary "Ronny Scott's" and landed a small role as Polydora in the Hollywood epic "Troy".

In 2007, she moved to Berlin with her guitar, attracted by the new, bubbling music scene in the German capital. Siri released her first solo album in 2009 and received the VW Sound Foundation's award for best up-and-coming artist. She has fascinated audiences and the press at major galas and her songs have been featured in numerous cinema and television films.

Now she is going on tour with a Christmas program mixing Swedish traditionals with American classics.
