And now? Dance Festival 2025
Guest performance by and with Antje Pfundtner in company
For the fifth time, the EinTanzHaus asks Und Jetzt? With moments of coming together, guest performances and communal dinners, we invite you to our festival from May 2 to June 7.
Is standing up a more powerful, more rebellious act than sitting down? And what does standing up mean for people who (mostly) sit in a performance? Antje Pfundtner's key question underlying the piece, "What are you standing up for?", invites us in society to question the personal and political motivations of human action: Who stands up for whom - and for what causes? When does it make sense to remain seated and endure something? Who debates standing up or prefers to go on strike sitting down?
Antje Pfundtner in Gesellschaft never tires of discussing these questions in as many voices as possible with a wide variety of people and involves numerous accomplices and fellow speakers from the city in which she is performing. The result is always a new collective solo that thrives on sharing space, questions and lots of chairs.
