Here, two musicians from very different musical traditions come together to form an unprecedented, harmonious whole. The virtuoso bassist HELLMUT HATTLER, who has been contributing to the soundtrack of German music history for decades with KRAAN, TAB TWO and HATTLER - and the Cameroon-born singer SIYOU ISABELLE NGNOUBAMDJUM with a huge vocal range, intonation security, an unerring sense of rhythm and a deep connection to gospel and soul.
What began as a purely fun project unfolded a magic between SIYOU and HELL right from the start that is fed by intensity and reduction in equal measure. They have already released their third album. The duo present a program of their favourite songs and their own pieces - a unique blend of gospel, African roots, pop, soul and jazz. The audience can look forward to music with a license to give them goose bumps, sometimes gently vibrating, sometimes impulsive and full of boundless power.
