Skassapunka / Bistro Tornado

Skassapunka was founded at the end of 2008 in Lainate, near Milan. The band quickly became known for its strong anti-fascist and anti-racist statements. In 2013, they released their first album "Di Vento in Vento". In 2014, they signed with the independent label Kob Records. In 2015, they released their second album "Il Gioco del Silenzio" with the collaboration of Enrico from Los Fastidios and Dema from Talco, followed by their first European tour. This was followed in 2016 by the single "We Want to Dance to Ska" and another tour. In 2017, the single "Bella Ciao" and the third album "Rudes Against" were released, and Skassapunka played another European tour together with bands such as Bad Manners, The Prosecution and The Flatliners. In 2018, the band celebrated their tenth anniversary with the new EP "Adelante" and the accompanying "Adelante Tour". In the same year, they played with some of the most important names in the Italian and international ska and punk scene, including The Locos, The Real McKenzies, The Bombpops, Los Fastidios and The Sewer Rats. The next tour, named after the single "Paradox", began in May 2019. In November 2020, the new album "Revolutionary Roots" was released by the label Maldito Records, followed in July 2021 by the single "United We Stand" and in March 2022 by another single, the ska-punk cover of the well-known Irish song "Foggy Dew". The Italian combat folk band Modena City Ramblers made a guest appearance on the latter release. In December of the same year, Skassapunka released "Dopolavoro", a two-tone ska song from their latest album. 2024 sees the band celebrate their fifteenth anniversary with the Skassapunka XV tour. In 2025, together with other well-known Italian bands, they released an EP entitled "Aldo chiamo ancora" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the liberation from fascism on April 25, 1945. The EP will be accompanied by a short film about the importance of today's anti-fascist resistance, featuring interviews with all the bands involved. The new tour starts in March 2025.

And finally back as guests: Bistro Tornado! Four heads who not only defied the current, but pulled it in a completely new direction with a lightning strike. Tornado rock - a genre that the world didn't see coming.

And even when the world stands still, the Bistro Tornado keeps on spinning - from club to club, from city to city, with one message: if you can't hear it, you have to feel it.
