SKI'S COUNTRY TRASH
You want a voice that gets deep under your skin? Exceptional artist Ski King makes even the innermost fibers of your body vibrate with his unique voice. He and his colleagues are living it up artistically with this project. And: NO, this is NOT a Johnny Cash cover band.
If you expect cover songs from Ski, you have to go to one of his solo shows. SKI'S COUNTRY TRASH play their own songs.
The band was founded in 2007 after Ski won the "Walk The Line" music cover contest at the end of 2006. When asked whether he would also perform Johnny Cash live with a band, Ski put together his musicians for SKI'S COUNTRY TRASH. However, the covers were very quickly replaced by self-composed songs, which is exactly what SKI'S COUNTRY TRASH is all about. As with any other band, the line-up would change a few more times until the current line-up was finally found. Among other things, the double bass was replaced several times until the crazy-quirky Lea Randella (The Tigerettes) arrived, who has been plucking and slapping the low strings in SKI'S COUNTRY TRASH ever since. Crazy because she turns every live show into an unforgettable experience. But - and this is a good thing - Ski King has never been replaced, because he is the true and vocal face of SKI'S COUNTRY TRASH, as well as the founder and leader of the band.
