SKUPPIN from Chemnitz builds a bridge between New German Wave and classic 80s synth-pop à la Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk. With cool synthesizer landscapes, dark basslines and a voice that sounds both vulnerable and intense, he creates a unique sound. His new EP "Weltschmerz" (out 28.02.25) is a consistent continuation of his style and reflects the pressing issues of our time: the state of the world, climate change, political uncertainty and the overwhelming demands of urban life. SKUPPIN's lyrics are direct, reflective and characterized by a deep thoughtfulness that fits perfectly into his atmospheric soundscapes.

Especially live, SKUPPIN captivates his audience - with a mixture of intense emotionality and unexpected harshness. His energetic performance is enhanced by the two musicians Antonia and Ricky (bass, keyboard, synth). After his debut album "Reliquien" (2024), two headline tours of his own and appearances at festivals such as the Reeperbahn Festival and the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, SKUPPIN has already reached a wide audience. He has also performed on stage with acts such as Donkey Kid, Empathy Test and nand.
