Skuth is 28 years old and really likes living in Cologne.

But it was a really long way until then. Flashback: "Do what you like, but if you do it - then do it sensibly!" says his father when he hands him a new mp3 player in 2006. The only condition for the unexpected gift was that his father could decide for himself which music he could play on half of the 512 MB storage capacity. Skuth agrees and so it is that, in addition to 50 Cent & The Game, icons such as Joe Jackson, The Police and Queen become the soundtrack for the then ten-year-old.

Skuth fell in love with music, played the piano and two years later began producing, which subsequently became his great passion. He tried his hand at almost all genres and particularly enjoyed EDM, pop and trap, but also orchestral film music and rock. When he was given the opportunity to be the first non-Dutch person to be accepted to the renowned Herman Brood Academie in 2019, he dropped his math studies and moved to Amsterdam with all his belongings. Skuth graduates from the academy, which also counts EDM superstar Martin Garrix among its alumni, in the summer of 2022 - as the best student of the year.

In Amsterdam, Skuth also began writing song lyrics and in 2023 - now 27 years old and at home in Cologne - dared to appear as a singer for the first time. In a TikTok video, he sings to Paula Hartmann, asking her to invite him to her long-sold-out Cologne show. The video promptly went viral and Paula actually invited Skuth to her concert shortly afterwards. For Skuth, this was the final signal to lock himself in the studio and work on his own debut.

His first single "ÄNDERT NICHTS" will be released on March 15 and we want to celebrate together at KÖLNKIOSK. Free admission. Come and join us!
