Right at the beginning of the year, the Musik- und Kongresshalle Lübeck becomes a temple of language when some of the best poets in the German-speaking world come together for the Great Poetry Slam New Year's Show. Eloquent, humorous, touching, sometimes uncomfortable - this is how Lübeck celebrates the start of the new year with a firework of performed word art!

On this evening, Slam A Rama brings together national slam greats and word heroes of the scene on one stage for this electrifying competition format that characterizes poetry slam. Whether poetry, storytelling, rap or spoken word - every line is an experience. At the end of the evening, the audience decides whose texts resonate the loudest.
