Emil Engelhardt from Erbach in the Odenwald and a Hanoverian by choice since 2022 has been performing his own texts on the stages of this country for nine years. In these, Emil mainly deals with questions about identity, self-perception and social conflicts. In 2024, Emil won the Lower Saxony/Bremen state poetry slam championships. And then comes yours: Slam Bremen. Your word. Your place, without (genre) boundaries, for words, for music, for performance. A place for art and junk, for foreign shame and adoration. A place for competition.
