Kai Olaf, 44 years old and from Hanover, has been touring Germany for over 15 years with his guitar and his own songs. It is his vocal qualities, his entertainment skills and his mix of self-deprecating and wistful songs that have made him a household name in the songwriting scene and won him numerous song slams. He became known to a wider audience through his participation in The Voice of Germany in 2024, where he made it through to the third round in the team fights.

And then here you come: Slam Bremen. Your word. Your place, without (genre) boundaries, for words, for music, for performance. A place for art and junk, for foreign shame and adoration. A place for competition.
