SLEEPLESS WORLD

"There is less sleep in the world now, the nights are longer and the days longer." With these words, Stefan Zweig describes the collective unrest in the summer of 1914 - a mood that seems more relevant today than ever. In his impressive dance piece Sleepless World, Boris Randzio sets this atmosphere in motion: Together with music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Radiohead, Hania Rani and Studnitzky, he creates a work that oscillates between past and present, between fear and hope - while daring to take bold glimpses into a possible future. The powerful, sensitive choreography is supported by a top-class ensemble: Ana Đorđević, Brice Asnar, Hannah Stein and Ya-Chun Tsai reveal the inner tensions of a society in intense solos and touching group moments - approachable, direct and with dancing precision. For one evening, Atelier Gardens in Berlin is transformed into a place of profound reflection and emotional intensity with Sleepless World.
