SMASH SPEZIAL - Stand Up Comedy double solo with Schwessi, Olga Ugrinsky and special guests

Cute but sassy, old but sexy, cringe but funny: the last Smash Comedy Show before the summer break is a special edition. Olga Ugrinsky and Schwessi are "Old but funny!" - in the eyes of the stand-up industry on the verge of decay, in their own everyday lives: too. Pack your electric blankets and come along, there's also fruit tea! And far too young special guests who could be their grandchildren.

Olga Ugrinsky has a very Russian name and surprisingly little knowledge of Russian. In fact, zero. On the other hand, she has a big heart and a real Berlin snout. She finds almost everything funny, especially bourgeois, quirky everyday situations and gets upset live on stage about stupid things (men in public spaces).

(This time even with a summer edition. Because you see so many of them outside in summer. It's their own fault, they could put on normal clothes).

As a single mother of a teenager,SCHWESSI has no time for surnames. As a musician and stand-up comedian, she polarizes online and live on stage, only to unite everything again beyond all clichés. In terms of content, feminist utopias of a queer single mum over 40 collide with the relentless self-exposure of human contradictions.

In order to enrich the male-dominated stand-up scene in Germany with new, female and queer perspectives and to give marginalized voices more visibility and a hearing, Schwessi founded Germany's first queer-feminist stand-up comedy open mic in March 2023: the "Smash Comedy Club". Everyone is welcome in the audience, but the stage belongs exclusively to FLINTA* (women, lesbians, inter, trans, agender) and queer comedy acts.

SMASH COMEDY is an alternative show with slightly different perspectives and jokes about life, society and being human. A stage without toxic masculinity, misogyny and racism, queer and trans hostility - a stage for queers, non-binary people, women, lesbians, trans people and others - a safe(r) space, also for the audience. Motto: With maximum fun and diversity power against discrimination.
