freely adapted from "Romeo and Juliet" by W. Shakespeare

A Moks and drama production
Two hostile families: Montague and Capulet. Two young people in love: Romeo and Juliet. Two fundamentally different worlds - or are they? Romeo and Juliet must carry on a conflict into which they were born - which is why they must not come together. But what exactly is it that is supposed to keep them apart? The two teenagers embark on a search for their place in a world in which everything seems to have already been decided. Director Yeşim Nela Keim Schaub uses Shakespeare's motifs to question this legendary love story. What influence does my heritage have on my identity? Where do attributions end and freedom begin? Together with the ensemble, Shakespeare's classic is taken apart and reassembled.
