Solar Punk Choir
Experimental choir for the Solar Punk exhibition

Build a solar punk choir with us and discover your voice for future utopias! For the exhibition "Solar Punk. An exhibition for dreaming and visioning" with opening on 23.10.2025 we are looking for you. Create songs with like-minded people and find resonance in the midst of turbulence. Sing in your own way with confidence.

The experimental choir workshops will take place on the last weekend of every month from January to October 2025 (see dates below) at uzwei in Dortmunder U, with the aim of performing at the opening of the large Solar Punk exhibition, which opens at uzwei on October 23. Marija Balubdžić, music composer and producer, and the uzwei team will eagerly accompany you. And at the same time, you will become part of the exhibition sound of our new exhibition, which invites you to jointly create a vision of a future in which inclusion, climate justice, diversity and equality become possible and which is characterized by sustainability, climate protection and overcoming conflicts.

At a time when the news about wars, hunger and natural disasters are coming thick and fast, the "Solar Punk" exhibition is an invitation to do just that

Young artists show works that ask how and whether such a future can be achieved and invite everyone who visits the exhibition to develop ideas about what they themselves can contribute to the creation of a world in which life can and will still be worth living in hundreds of years' time. The exhibition encourages optimism and a joint rebellion against environmental pollution, war, discrimination and hopelessness!
