Sommerferien auf dem Freudenberg

Come on, we're going on summer vacation on the Freudenberg! Every day of your vacation here is a gift - and nobody says: 'Hurry up, we have to go somewhere else, hurry up'. The Freudenberg invites you to let yourself drift: start on the barefoot path, listen to the snails in the snail garden, dam up the water at the waterworks until the dam breaks. Hum with the bees in the bee temple, discover the new drawing machine in the castle and immerse yourself in the DunkelBar. And when the day draws to a close, take a sound tour - or simply sit at the forest kiosk until the summer evening slowly gets cooler.

// July 7 to August 15 is the summer vacation in Hesse. There's a lot going on on the Freudenberg during this time! All guests are invited to spend balmy summer evenings in the castle and castle park. The Field of Experience will be open longer during the six weeks: From Tuesday to Sunday, until 6 pm, everyone from 3 to 103 is welcome. There are daily sound tours and inspirations, and the DunkelBar and fire pit are open. Every Sunday at 3 pm there is a large public guided tour of the Field of Experience for all guests. The theme day "Bees and their wild sisters" takes place on July 27. Various cultural events are also planned - a singer-songwriter evening, a drag show, a guest performance by a Nepalese theater group...
