"Nearby in the distance". Brecht and Weigel in letters
Ticket: Free admission!
A special program with music, lyrical interludes and guided tours, readings and an archive exhibition shows Brecht, Weigel and their circle from an unknown side: as letter writers who formed the mail center of a worldwide network of comrades-in-arms. During the "witching hour", texts by the many artists buried in the Dorotheenstädtischer Friedhof cemetery will be read aloud by prominent reading patrons.
In cooperation with the Brecht-Weigel-Museum and Bertolt-Brecht-Archiv (both institutions of the Akademie der Künste, Berlin) and the Dorotheenstädtische Friedhofsverwaltung / Evangelischer Friedhofsverband Berlin Stadtmitte
