Cinema in the open air: This year's Summer Cinema Open Air runs every Saturday from June 7 to August 16 on our roof terrace - wonderful summer evenings with great movies in the open air!
A best-of from the regional short film festival "Zum Goldenen Hirsch" will be shown:

"Zum Goldenen Hirsch" is the name of the regular regional short film competition at Cinema Quadrat and Karlstorkino, where filmmakers from the metropolitan region present their work: Music videos and short documentaries, screen dramas, color-form experiments or acted jokes. Anything that is good and original and comes from here will be shown! HIRSCH AUF DER PIRSCH shows the best of the best: a good dozen short films relating to the Rhine-Neckar region, sometimes hilarious, sometimes poignant, always inspiring! Including LITTLE MANNHEIM by Benedikt Hild with many miniature views of Mannheim, EIN MANNHEIMER AUF DEM HELLFEST by David Borymski, a documentary about the French heavy metal festival, and PSEUDO by Robert Führer, a Hitchcock-inspired Super 8 film.
