Look at the World - Look at the world

This is the motto of this year's summer concert by the Dortmund Chamber Choir. The sacred choral work by British composer John Rutter, written as an anthem for the harvest season, represents the 20th century. It is one of the pieces that form the conclusion of the concert. The overall program spans the centuries - from Thomas Morley's "Now is the month of maying" from the 16th century, to 18th century Viennese Classicism with Mozart's "Luci care, luci belle" or the "Ave Maria" from "Cavalleria Rusticana" by Pietro Mascagni from the 19th century. The overall conductor is Fabio Mancini, director of the Dortmund Opera Choir, whom the chamber choir was able to recruit as interrims choir director.

Admission is free. The choir appreciates donations.
