Sommersause – Töne wirbeln Wissenschaft

In the organizer's words:

From August 1 to 17, it's going to be whirly every day between 12:00 and 18:00: with lots of creative activities, you can experience the connection between music and science. You can find out what amazing instruments can be made from a simple sheet of paper - from trumpets to guitars, you can put together a real little paper orchestra. In addition, a large, very dreamy sound monster lands on the forecourt - can it be brought to life?

You can try out different sounds in the mobile music museum and meet a traveling frog with a loud drum and lots of questions about time in two children's plays. At the Whirling Circus, you can juggle and balance together and the new Science Show uses a flame tube and giant gong to explain the physics behind the sounds.

As a special highlight, an atmospheric stargazing concert with singer-songwriters, ukuleles, African harp and improvisations will take place on the evening of August 10, framed by explanations about the starry sky - maybe you'll even be lucky enough to spot a few shooting stars?

Apart from the concert visit, participation in the "Summer break - sounds swirl science" vacation program is included in the Universum ticket. The program is made possible by Sparkasse Bremen, a long-standing partner of Universum Bremen.
