The Sommersend in Münster starts again on Thursday, July 17, with a mixture of new and tried-and-tested rides as well as various treats. Until Monday, July 21, classics such as the bumper cars, disco jet and ghost train will be on the Schlossplatz as well as new rides.

Around 150 showmen and showwomen will be at Münster's biggest funfair. There are twelve children's rides for young Send fans.

One of the highlights of the Sommersend is the 42-metre-high "No Limit" swing. Visitors are also spun overhead in loops. The "Air Power" ride, which is making its debut in Münster, also takes visitors to lofty heights. Passengers can swing through the air at a height of more than 20 meters in the spinning swing.

The "Tiki Ball" water polo facility for the whole family will also be making its broadcast premiere. Customers climb into a large, transparent ball and can virtually walk or roll on the water. The family roller coaster "Anthony's Adventure" will also be in front of the castle for the first time and, in addition to an extra-long track, illuminated rails and an illuminated train, also has a slide at the exit.

In the "Fun Alley" XXL ride, which will be completely redesigned in 2024, young and old alike can overcome around 80 obstacles on four levels, including water features, fog installations and a glass maze. This should not only be fun, but also train the sense of orientation and balance.

The solar-powered "Solar Wheel" Ferris wheel is, according to its own information, the world's first Ferris wheel to draw its drive energy from solar radiation using photovoltaics. The operator from Wettringen in Münsterland has equipped the surfaces of the ride with solar panels. The 33-metre-high Ferris wheel already stood in front of the castle at the 2024 summer festival.

The Showmen's Association is once again organizing an activity area for young visitors - including a circus. On Sunday, July 20, there will be an autograph session with volleyball players from USC Münster from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
