After a painful break-up, Gemma moves from a small town to Los Angeles in the hope of making it big. To keep her head above water financially, she takes a job on the night shift at Somnium - a mysterious, experimental sleep clinic where dreams come true. Meanwhile, Gemma throws herself into the cut-throat world of Hollywood casting. But as the pressure to succeed mounts, she begins to experience strange and disturbing phenomena and soon finds herself in a nightmarish spiral as she discovers dark secrets lurking behind the clinic's walls.
