Two stories of disappearance
Tonne guest performance
Most losses that a person experiences are pretty clear-cut. Someone who was there before is irretrievably gone. But what happens when a loss remains ambiguous? For example, when someone leaves who was not obviously there for everyone before, as in the case of a miscarriage. Or when someone can no longer be reached, even though they are sitting next to you, as in the case of dementia.
How do you deal with a loss that other people can't recognize? And how do you come to terms with a loss that leaves hardly any trace? A musical narrative theater evening now sets out in search of clues to make two ambiguous losses tangible and audible. And in doing so, it encounters two taboo subjects that reveal an unexpected amount of absurdity and comedy alongside all the tragedy.
