As part of the Darmstadt Heinerfest, the Darmstädter Kantorei chamber choir under the direction of Christian Roß invites you to its summer concert "Songs of Life". On Saturday, 5 July 2025, and Sunday, 6 July 2025, both at 6 p.m. in the Stadtkirche Darmstadt, a varied program of choral music from different eras and regions of Europe will be performed.

You can hear works by Renaissance masters such as William Byrd and Giovanni Gabrieli, romantic sounds by Fanny Hensel and Johannes Brahms as well as expressive choral music from the 20th and 21st centuries by composers such as Samuel Barber, György Orbán and James Erb. The musical journey leads through festive splendor, intimate soundscapes and rousing rhythms - an evening full of life and sound colors.
