Landscapes, occasional conversations, encounters and sounds that interweave into one image compose this documentary. It is the audiovisual diary of Ukraine, filmed over two years in varying proximity to the front line, tracing the subtle changes in Ukrainian society. The ragged chords of panic and horror of the first weeks of the Russian invasion slowly transform into the numb silence of acceptance of death and destruction, which eventually becomes the tragic normality for the local population. But a new generation of Ukrainians is striving to imagine the future.
