Sonidera MX

[Joyce Musicolor, known as Sonidera MX, comes from the Iztapalapa district of Mexico City. With over 15 years of experience as a sonidera and DJ, she is a central figure in Latin American club music and one of the defining voices of the Mexican sonidero scene. With a flair for tradition and innovation, she brings the powerful rhythms of cumbia and sound system culture to new audiences. In November 2024, she was part of a historic sonidero special at Boiler Room - together with scene greats such as Sonido La Changa, Amantes del Futuro and Turbo Sonidero. With an energetic set, she impressively demonstrated her artistic strength and stage presence.

With over 15 years of experience as a Sonidera & Dj, she is at the forefront of the mexican sonidero scene, blending tradition with innovation to bring the vibrant sounds of cumbia and sound system culture to new audiences. In November 2024, Boiler Room hosted a historic Sonidero Special, where Sonidera MX proudly took the stage alongside the most influential figures of the scene, delivering an electrifying set that showcased her talent and power on stage.

King Edi K

[Edi Kistler (Liquits) is a multi-instrumentalist, founder of the label Matanga Records and producer of bands such as Sotomayor, Músicos de José, Ángel Strife, Play and Móvil Project, Hamurabi and many more. His solo debut presents his own songs that fuse the sound of 1960s West Africa with electronic beats and synthesizers. As King Edi K, he brings his music to the stage live mainly in the form of electronic Afrobeat performances, reminiscent of the sound of Fela Kuti, Tony Allen, Jungle Fire, Antibalas or Budo's band. The show combines the vibrant culture of black music with electronic dancefloor sounds.
