The sound of Sonido Gallo Negro: wheezing Farfisa organs, clanging surf guitars, a theremin, the indispensable güiro and lots of percussion. It's the soundtrack to a psychedelic spaghetti western starring the Grim Reaper, Mexican style, performed by Sonido Gallo Negro. The nine-piece instrumental combo from the east of Mexico City has transformed their psychedelic cumbia mix into a captivating audiovisual experience with the support of artist Dr. Alderete, who not only operates the theremin but also provides the appropriate visuals.
