Sonido Gallo Negro (T-Vox Rec./MX) *live*

Sonido Gallo Negro, one of the best-known bands from Mexico City, is dedicated to the roots of psychedelic tropical music. With jangling surf guitars, eccentric Farfisa organs, analog synthesizers, güiro and theremin, they create an irresistible psychedelic cumbia mix, which they transform into a captivating audiovisual experience with the support of artist Dr. Alderete and his hypnotic visuals.

Since 2010, they have toured Europe and America several times, visiting 20 countries and more than 50 cities, and have earned a reputation for making their audiences dance until they are exhausted. In their mission, the band focuses on great stylistic diversity and combines the musical richness of Latin America, especially Mexico and Colombia, with the soundscapes of Africa, Spain and the Middle East.
