Friendship concert by the Rochdale Community Wind Band & the Hastetöne Berlin Wind Orchestra

"Manchester meets Berlin" is the name of the game when the Berlin wind orchestra Hastetöne meets the Rochdale Community Wind Band from Manchester for a friendship concert.

The first contacts between the musicians began with study visits to Berlin by some members of the Rochdale Community. After several reciprocal visits, the two orchestras met for a joint concert in Britzer Garten.

The broad repertoire of both orchestras includes waltzes, film melodies, marches, popular melodies as well as hits and Berlin popular songs.
