Sorvina. DURCHLÜFTEN – 2025 Live Konzerte & DJ Acts im Schlüterhof

Free, outdoors and under palm trees: this summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival will once again transform the Humboldt Forum's large Schlüterhof courtyard into a lively meeting place for sound, rhythm and culture.

Over four weekends, music from all over the world will radiate from the stage: from the raw energy of Mexican cumbia punk to the hypnotic groove of Kenyan dodo blues, from the electrifying syncopation of Congolese soukous to the powerful messages of Afrofuturist big bands.

Japanese folk with a Caribbean influence, soulful jazz, hip-hop and the joy and resilience of the Frafra gospel round off this celebration of sound - boundless, multi-perspective and irresistibly danceable!

Sorvina (USA, Berlin)

Sorvina was born in New York and now lives in Berlin as an artist whose music is as dynamic and changing as her life story. Growing up in a (relatively) quiet suburb of New York City, Sorvina first found her voice in the world of folk singer-songwriters, where her melodies and tragicomic lyrics painted a vivid picture of her inner world. In the course of her personal and artistic development, however, Sorvina found the courage to admit to one of her deepest, previously hidden dreams: To become a rapper.

Today, Sorvina is firmly rooted in the vibrant hip-hop landscape and has internalized her love of rhyme and rhythm. She combines her narrative flair with the driving beats and lyrical complexity of the genre that was new to her. Each song is a chapter in her ongoing story, providing intimate insights into her life - from the challenges and joys of her identity to the constant movement that shapes her existence.
